Also, a lot of nurses and med tech act like they’re the doctor like I don’t know how many times I’ve been pissed off because a resident has asked for their PRN pain medication and the med tech has been like oh they’re just drug seeking like excuse me they’re 80 years old and have a broken hip. They’re elderly if they say they’re in pain even if they don’t have a broken hip, they probably are in pain. Wait till you get that age. I always gave my patient PRN pains when they asked for it if the time was OK because 99% of the time they’re already getting Tylenol during the day.

In the hospital recovering from my most recent back surgery, the only time I felt any relief at all was when I recd my pain injection. In the middle of the night a nurse named hope came in to give me my injection. Injection provided me no relief at all. I’m pretty sure she gave me saline or something that was absolutely worthless. I should have told the hospital staff.

I had my mother in a nursing home home when my mom needed pain meds as she was passing I her daughter stood over nursing and they gave my mom what she needed each time !!!!!!!! I am very grateful for this nursing home in Michigan !!
