YO Carter, I’m a 15yo dev from Ethiopia. I’ve been pouring every waking hour into building tech. I actually managed to take 2nd place at our national science fair and got to present a custom AI architecture I built to our Vice Prime Minister. But my luck just ran out. The only laptop I had, which my parents saved up for two straight years to get me, completely died. I am honestly devastated because my hands are totally tied now. A desktop is not even an option for me because our local power grid is constantly cutting out, so I strictly need a laptop with a battery to keep working. I am really not looking for anything crazy or high end. I just need any functional machine that can handle code compiles and some light video editing so I can start freelancing and support myself.
