It's so sad because for her, she lost a lot and went through so much. From Toman's perspective, defeating moebius means protecting their pride, settling scores, and avenging pah-chin's friend. They feel the relief of victory but she won't. It won'tbring her enough justice or healing. Because for her, it won't undo what happened to her. It doesn’t make anything better, doesn’t erase the fear she felt, the trauma, the scars, and the suffering she felt. The guys who did that to her are probably still out there while she's still in a hospital :( She's not even directly tied to Toman but still got involved in a gang conflict and got hurt by it.

I think it made sense, in a way. Coz these r young boys that chased after that older, cooler delinquent stereotype, and all those ''cooler" delinquents did for them to be cool was be in a group, lead and win fights. Draken was probably jaded, as he lived in a brothel and grew up seeing some shit. Mikey literally had only one female figure in his life and instead of her influencing him, he influences her instead. He clearly lacks empathy too. Even towards his peers. Even pah, he felt bad mainly coz it was friend's gf. Not becoz its a girl. Toxic masculinity was fed and used as a nourishment by their environment. They knew it was a bad thing, but thats abt it. They could never imagine to be in said girl's shoes. Thats why the rankings for best boyfriend and such made so much sense. Draken, Baji and Hakkai all have influential female figures in their lives, hence they r more empathetic towards women. I loveee yapping abt tr so my cmt got too long lol.

also draken basically FORCED mikey to apologize to the family , and i feel like wakui didn’t really wanna focus on it and it’s not about that subject being unimportant but we should’ve had strong reactions from characters at least and not them just forgetting about it the next day not only because it’s a sensitive topic, but cuz these characters respect women, mikey says he doesn’t hit girls and toman supposed to be the next generation of delinquents that are the good ones or sum shi, but we only got subtle reactions 🙏

i swear i got so pissed at mikey when he and draken went to the hospital to visit her and after her father got mad at them and they bowed to him two minutes later mikey casually told draken that he was hungry again , like couldn't he wait until they left the hospital or smth ?

Well said. She wasn't even directly connected to anyone in Toman and she had that happen to her. Mikey's attitude towards her parents also pissed me off. They had every right to be angry, and he was getting agitated and straight up disrespectful with them, for what? This a probably why most girls in this universe want little to nothing to do with these guys, the things that can happen to you through association alone are just appalling.
