@pocket.psychologist: If I asked you to make these towers the same height, what would you do? 🧠 Most people start by adding more blocks to the shorter tower. More confidence. More motivation. More discipline. More self-improvement. Because we've been taught that growth comes from adding more. But psychology often works differently. Sometimes the fastest way to make the towers the same height isn't to build one up. It's to take blocks off the other. Less pressure. Less perfectionism. Less people pleasing. Less guilt. Less unrealistic expectations. We spend so much of our lives trying to become more, when the real problem is the weight we're already carrying!! Growth isn't always about adding. Sometimes it's about subtracting. 💛 Link in bio to my mini course with practical psychology tools you can actually use.
what about taking one from one tower and adding it to the other.

By definition, “growth” does in fact mean adding or increasing.

Are you asking to make them the same height, or are you asking to make them the same height in the fewest moves? And are you presenting the question with spare blocks present? I see the intention but this doesn’t add up.

It’s actually because we’re given two bricks so we assume we’re supposed to use them to do the task

If I need to make something or someone worse so we can be equal, maybe we aren’t meant to be equal.

If you laughed at that because the first thing you thought of instead of making yourself better make the other person worse we should be friends lol 😂

I mean you could also move one block from the taller tower to the other and make it even…

😂 My thinking went straight to....turn the block on its end, a different entry point, same exit point achieved. Many different takes for a equitable outcome

well I was looking at two towers made out of blocks and not my life, so I have two extra blocks in my hands that arent on the towers, so id just put them on the shorter one because they're blocks.
