@blondepraxis: One of the women watching me graduate is my great-grandmother, who cycled 9 miles to the factory every day she worked. She's the mother of my granddad, who is the husband of my nan: the teen mum of my teen mum. When i was a kid, my mum had 3 jobs and my dad worked 12-hour shifts at the carpet factory as a creeler. Eventually they both got university degrees in their mid 20s.
