Honestly the movie is great up until the last act. I think my specific grievance is that the movie didn’t know how to explain the point is was building up to. The film lacked the emotional catharsis that it was building up. (Which is why That needle drop I think was so disliked)

literally all the movie needed was a B plot to help explain character motivations (which I understood surprisingly well through multiple viewings).

2026 Jul 3 - I just watched Supergirl and I super enjoyed the movie and Milly Alcock is a gooood choice really! She matched the aura so well!!! Go and watch it! the movies are healing yeah!!!! oh and the soundtrack or all the music played was just so good! I came out of the cinema all happy 🥰
