Why would I Roth and pay taxes now when I’m in a high tax bracket vs 401k that reduces my taxes now and we’ll be in a lower tax bracket in retirement. What am I missing?

Roth is not tax free. You pay taxes to put it into the account to prevent paying taxes when you withdraw

I just crossed the million dollar mark 401 k. 90 % , 10% Roth. Not sure how much I can safely take out each year. 2 more years b4 I retire
