my father was around but he was very drunk, I never had a normal relationship with him and that affected me terribly I believe more so in my romantic relationships. I will be single indefinitely because my picker is broken

Grew up with no mom. And dad was always working. So essentially no parents. Both parents doesn’t matter if they are the same gender or not. Both parents are so incredibly important to the development, education, growth of the child. I’m 34. Can’t ride a bike, don’t have I license. Little to no self respect. It’s a miracle I can cook lol. But if I had both parents, I would be in a far better position at 34, 33, 30, 20. Than I am now. Two parent households compared to one, or none. Are so much better.
