a lot of them are lore skippers yes but i don't think people realize how many people are genuinely just larping 😭 so much genshin hate comes from people who don't play the game, haven't played it in years, and/or spread misinformation to make other gacha games look bad. you can make up a straight up nonsensical lie and get 100k+ views because so much genshin hate isnt based in reality

Abyss sibling aside I like going around teyvat and the adventures it gives us. yes it is kinda repetitive but I love the characters, discovering new regions and the lore they tell. it truly capture the inital idea and spirit of BOTW which is the love of discovery. which explain why I haven't gave up on genshin.
