His height was actually about 7 feet tall and his absolute tallest in the 1970s. They would give him lifts in his wrestling boots to give him a little extra height. In any case I’m not diminishing this man’s incredible height and size. I met him in real life back in 1985 at Mapleleaf Gardens and he shook my hand. He is gigantic.
