That line is not for the states fair. It’s for the fireworks show that happens annually on the Mall. He doesn’t get credit for the Washingtonians that showed up in 100+ weather for a postponed show they attend every years. Also, the Mall is not public property, as the protestors stated. It’s federal land that’s apart of DCs federal district.
