Let me introduce you to the darling small town of Owensboro, Kentucky! 🧳 During our recent visit to @holidayworld we decided to check out this charming town along the Ohio River and I am so glad we did!! Gorgeous riverfront parks, tasty local restaurants, and tons of museums make a visit to @visitowensboro a must! Here are a few things you want to check out: 🎢 Holiday World is about a 40-minute drive from Owensboro. Owensboro makes a great home base with lots of restaurants and activities nearby. 🛝Stroll the river walk at Smothers Park. Spend some time on a swing overlooking the river, admire the fountains or let the kids loose on the massive Lazy Day Playground. ✨The playground is massive and has been created to be accessible for all kids! There is even a splash pad. ☕Grab a cup of amazing coffee and an even tastier donut @grampscoffeeanddonuts 🌮 We love a good Mexican restaurant and @donmariomex is the place to go! 🛍️ Stroll the cute downtown area and visit some boutiques such as @willowandpinemarket 🎫 See what is happening at the @owensconctr! We were able to catch @jurassicquest during our stay. 🏨 Stay at the Hampton Inn Downtown Owensboro Waterfront. Ask for a room overlooking the river!
