girl as a mom you know the importance of knowing cursive..at LEAST knowing how to sign ur name. it was your responsibility to teach her that especially knowing they don’t teach it in schools anymore..

im 18 and I can read/write cursive, we had to write with it in elementary. we also had to test to earn our “cursive license” 😭

I can read somethings in cursive but I can’t write in cursive but the only I can write in cursive is my name. When I was in 5th grade we wrote in cursive ( the teacher gave us a paper with cursive but it was only the alphabet) we only did it once but never again in class. But a lot of kids these days even learned to write in cursive and i wish we learned ( especially for kids now ).

I taught all four of my kids how to write their first and last name in cursive my youngest took a cursive writing class in Junior high.

Graduated and I never learned cursive…I’m dyslexic and I guess it’s supposed to be easier for me and my mom tried to teach me (she’s a dyslexia teacher)
