@zoe.mckenzie05: ⚓ KEEP HMAS CERBERUS IN DEFENCE HANDS 🇦🇺 The local community has spoken clearly: The Albanese Government must abandon its proposed sell-off of parts of HMAS Cerberus which will train future generations of Navy and AUKUS recruits. In Parliament, I called on the Government to reverse course. At a time of mounting strategic uncertainty and proposed greater investment in the Navy, Australia should be protecting the Cradle of the Navy, not stripping it of its growth potential. I’ll continue to stand up for our local community, our national security, and the principle that Defence land should remain in Defence hands. I raised it in Parliament during the last sitting period.
