How to make the Best HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES 🍓✨ Ingredients •	1 lb fresh strawberries •	10 oz Ghirardelli milk chocolate melting wafers •	½ cup Ghirardelli white chocolate melting wafers (or Ghirardelli Classic White Vanilla Chips) •	½ teaspoon coconut oil Instructions 1.	Soak the strawberries in 1 part white vinegar and 4 parts water for 2–3 minutes, then rinse well under cold water. 2.	Dry the strawberries completely using paper towels and a clean kitchen towel. Let them sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes. This helps the chocolate stick smoothly. 3.	Insert two toothpicks close together at the top near the stem, pushing them in just enough to hold the strawberry securely. 4.	Add the milk chocolate wafers to a microwave-safe mug, deep enough so you can dip the strawberry in completely. Microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth. Do not burn! The chocolate should be fluid and easy to work with, but not hot. 5.	Hold the strawberry by the toothpicks and gently pull the leaves back. Dip the strawberry into the chocolate and gently swirl it to coat evenly, all the way up to the stem. Lift it out, shake off the excess chocolate, and place on a parchment paper. Repeat with the remaining strawberries. 6.	If the chocolate thickens while dipping, microwave for 10–15 seconds and stir until smooth again. 7.	Melt the white chocolate wafers with the coconut oil in short microwave intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth. Make sure it’s not too hot. Transfer to a small Ziploc bag and cut a very small tip. 8.	Hold each strawberry by the toothpicks and start at the bottom tip. Drizzle in a quick back-and-forth motion while gently pressing the chocolate out. You can practice on parchment paper first to create clean lines. 9.	Let the strawberries sit at room temperature or refrigerate for about 15 minutes, until the chocolate is fully set. #chocolatecoveredstrawberries #chocolate #strawberries #HomemadeDesserts #valentinesdesserts
