Beautiful words, but unfortunately they don't apply to women over 40. As a 44-year-old woman, I think that advice is better suited for women in their 20s or 30s. At this stage of life, I'm not looking to wait for a man to find his mission.I want someone who's already been consistently living it. Most women over 40 have built their own lives, and it's fair to expect the same from a partner. Respect and admiration matter, and for many of us, that's hard to have if he's still trying to figure it all out.

Yeah we stopped doing all the emotional work in the relationship. Having peace while single is way better than carrying the emotional weight of two so we can have a plus one at our friend’s wedding. Not saying everyone has to be all put together but we are not gonna do it for you anymore either
