there was a comment on a video 2 years ago that said 'you're going to be 36 anyways, why not be 36 with a degree?' I was 34. I had been a stay at home mom since 2014, then worked remote for hospital central test scheduling for a few years. that comment changed my life. I will graduate from my radiography program next May, a month before I turn 37.

I wish I had saved it but there was a lady on here who described her traumatic birth experience that led to her baby being born an angel. She had a placental abruption and was gaslit by her triage nurse to stay home and do kick counts. Her baby passed in the hour or so she was home. 2 weeks later the same exact thing happened to me but my symptoms aligned so much with hers when the nurse told me to stay home I told her “f that I’m coming” and thank god I did. My baby’s HR was 60-70 and I was rushed for a stat c section. I will forever be grateful for that video.

Don’t remember who made the video (so sorry) but a guy made a video that said things aren’t really hard or easy. They are just familiar or unfamiliar. 🤯 That right there literally rewired my brain. Now I don’t see things as hard just as unfamiliar and it makes situations less scary.

After my soul dog died last year, I almost deleted myself I was so down. Read this comment on a random video: “If the roles were reversed and you had died, would you want your dog sitting alone for months, or would you want someone who loved them as fiercely as you did to keep loving them right away?” I still haven’t adopted another dog, but this comment really really helped me out of a very dark place.

Someone said you can run the dishwasher when it’s not completely full. My neurodivergent self now does the dishes on my timeline instead of the dishwasher’s timeline. Sounds like but honestly gave me so much peace and sanity.

I watched a video of an elderly woman walking across the stage to get her diploma! I applied for college the next day. I finished my degree in graphic design last December at 54 years old.
