My daughter is literally the same complexion as Kane brown with the hazel eyes that turns green , grey and blue she took after her dad yes he is mixed as well ! I had to tell my daughter she was black & don’t let anyone tell you different and I have 2 kids from him and you wouldn’t be able to tell they have the same dad expect for the fact that my other daughter looks just like him just my complexion !

My youngest is biracial. Her older siblings on my side are Italian, and her father is Black. She also has siblings through him who are Black and Puerto Rican. She sometimes asks why she doesn’t look “white” like the rest of us, and I always make sure to embrace and celebrate her being Black while reminding her that she carries a part of me in her too. The world can be a scary and unkind place at times, so I try to share age-appropriate truths without overwhelming her. We embrace all of who she is in our family. She is so deeply loved, and I always remind her how beautiful she is and how much she matters—no matter what anyone else says.

I have biracial nephews and my sister and their father are still happily married so the biracial question was obviously never raised BUT we do make sure we educate them on every aspect of their heritage. They are a beautiful mix of African, Irish and Italian and we make sure they are proud of every side❤️❤️❤️Education and understanding where you come from help you gain a sense of self and pride in yourself. I'm so sorry he experienced this, I never knew.
