I’ve experienced it a couple of times and frustrating as it is the solicitor is not always to blame. It’s the antiquated and heavily regulated system they have to work within.

When we completed I had to chase my solicitor for confirmation we actually completed and got the most blunt “yes we completed on that earlier today” well thanks for letting us know ??

I can promise you we aren’t all as slow… but we are heavily regulated, we hate asking for all this information as much as you find it a hassle giving it to us..😊
