This is a very good introduction! But keep in mind you don’t need all of these frames to show the emotion! Sometimes having too many frames that don’t “serve a purpose” can cause things to look “stiff or slow” the “inbetween” frames (or the purple one) looks very good compared to the “all together” which looks a bit stiff on that windup and slow all together. I would try cutting some of those frames out! This would also save on some time (when drawing frames) in the future to! Animation is the illusion of movement! So we can cheat in a couple of places to get that timing right! Other than that- this is a good starter to understand the principles! Now we can start to cheat those principles! Good work!

Key poses are your 2 main poses you want to start and end on. Extremes are your “anticipations” and “overshoots”. Breakdowns are the in-betweens that establish the arc and delay between body parts, if there is any. There’s no “one right frame” to be a breakdown, and there can be multiple. (Its essentially providing all the information that requires thinking.) Tweening requires no creative decisions if you did your breakdowns right, it’s just fill in the blank. The animation shown here is a little misleading bc the extremes act as breakdowns
