My Mom is 84, early dementia. I'm there every day to make her meals, clean, do laundry, pay some bills and we have some ice cream, her favorite treat. I'm her 60 yr old single son. I have one sister, I don't think she knows we still exist. It's tough, my house and errands get put on hold. I get 2 or 3 hours sleep maybe. But I love my Mother and I will be there for her. God Bless all the caretakers out there!

My mom is 86 and lives wt me for the last 7 yrs n im her rock. At times I struggle wt it all but I keep pushing forward wt God in my life . Im here for good reason and God is showing me patience and what it means to help others no matter what

my heart is broken my daughter never call me unless I text her then she text just a few words. Never had communication from 8 months. My chest gets so heavy evey day n night I think about it, it hurts so much. I raised her by myself.😪💔😪

I lost my mom when I was 3-4 years old and I miss her so much and I lost my Dad when I was 13 years old and its really hard and I cried a lot. If your parents are still here visit them, talk to them, take them out and they will like that and always say I love you ❤️Its really really hard without parents.

Easy comments to make but you need to take care of yourself too. I miss my parents so much, my Dad passed away in 2013 and I ended up looking after my Mum who developed dementia. Mum is still with us but in a care home as she needs 24 hour care. I looked after Mum for nearly 9 years and it became damn hard and nearly took me down. So I say look after yourself too.

I feel this with my mom i don't care she is still with me no regrets she took care of until I was able to take care of myself it my job as a son to do the same today as her son
