Waiting until I had more time. I thought I’d start when life was less hectic. But as a mum, life doesn’t magically slow down. I realised I had to stop waiting for more time and start making the most of the time I had. 2. Overthinking instead of taking action. I spent so much time researching and wondering if I could do it, instead of simply getting started. 3. Doubting myself before I’d even begun. I had no experience, no big audience, and no clue what I was doing. I nearly let that stop me. The truth is, the people who do well as UW Partners aren’t the ones who have everything figured out from day one. They’re the ones who decide to start, stay consistent, and keep learning. Joining UW has given me so much more than an extra income, it’s given me confidence, flexibility around my family, and shown me what can happen when you stop waiting for the “perfect” moment.
