SPICY . . . . I’ve visualised this jump for years. Plan-A was to take both hands off (for style points), pinch the bike with my knees, open the parachute and return my hands to the handlebars. Such is life, I lost the bike immediately and had to switch to plan-B which was to push the bike away from me and get the parachute open asap (minimal style points). I couldn’t walk away from basejumping without the dream of ‘bike base’ always nagging me. Now it’s done! It wasn’t perfect but I executed what needed to happen for a safe landing so will have to take that as a win…i’m not doing it again. I’ve acheived so much more in 6 years of jumping than I ever dreamt of. I can hang up the parachute happy now. #stunt #mtblife #gopro #basejump #pov #sendit @VOOM Nutrition
