@queensirikitpr: Traditional Thai attire has long been recognized around the world as a powerful instrument of cultural diplomacy. Central to this heritage is the "Sabai Song Chai" — the two-tailed shawl, or dual-ended breast cloth — which holds a long and storied place within the Siamese royal court. One notable historic occasion was the coronation of King Prajadhipok (Rama VII), when Queen Rambhai Barni appeared in the full royal regalia. Later, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother donned the Sabai Song Chai paired with a Pha Phumi — a traditional pleated skirt crafted from exquisite gold-brocade fabric (Pha Yok Thong) — arranged with a front pleat and an ornately tucked waistband, following ancient royal tradition. This cultural heritage has since passed down to Her Majesty Queen Suthida. #QueenSirikit #TheQueenMother #Royalcourt #ThaiCulturalHeritage #Sabaisongchai
