One of the biggest mistakes many farmers make is choosing cheap seeds over high-performing varieties. It may save money today, but it often costs far more in reduced yield, poor fruit quality and inconsistent harvests. This video was recorded in one of our old yielding greenhouses, where we grew Red Jet and Reggaeton RZ F1 bell peppers varieties. We transplanted in September 2025 and started harvesting in December 2025. Even after battling spider mites, thrips, aphids, powdery mildew, magnesium deficiency and nematodes, these varieties continued to produce quality fruits consistently for 8 months. The combination of sound agronomic practices and good varieties are what helped us consistently work towards our production target of 4–6 kg per plant, while maintaining excellent fruit sizes and market appeal.
