According to this, Alyssa was jealous of Shannon's popularity. So that obviously means Shannon was more popular than Alyssa. I highly doubt a show is going to get rid of a more popular actress just because a less popular actress pushed for it. That makes absolutely no sense. If Shannon is more popular, that means she's attracting more viewers, making the show more money. So there must be some truth to Shannon being difficult to with, especially since this is not the first series she was let go from. Just saying.
