Aging means the physical process of something through time. If the "aging" of the machine is truly reverted to it's original atomic state, it means all the physical records it accumulated is effectively removed from causality. If that's the case, then that also includes the act of using its energy to travel through past since the machine should have undergone that process before traversing time. Logically speaking, the time machine shouldn't even be there if it's entire atomic record is nulled. Unless we are somehow introducing a second principle which includes the machine specifically only reverting the things before the time jump, essentially removing the cause and only keeping the effect. Then it at least wouldn't contradict each other.

if the time traveller travels back in time not only it imports the machine to the last self but it degenerates itself to its new self because whenever you travel back in time the machine goes to its past self......nevertheless how would we travel in time if it was never invented
