@nur_ellaxavier: Antibiotics are medicines that kill bacteria. They are very effective when the infection is caused by bacteria but not every v@ginal infection is bacterial. Some vjay infections, like yeast infections, are caused by fungi, not bacteria. Taking antibiotics won’t treat them. In fact, antibiotics can sometimes kill the good bacteria that normally protect the v@gina, making it easier for yeast to grow and causing symptoms like: ✨ Intense itching ✨ Thick discharge ✨ Redness ✨ Irritation So if you’ve taken antibiotics and your symptoms are still there or they’ve gotten worse don’t keep taking more antibiotics or self-medicate. The cause may be something entirely different and requires the right diagnosis and treatment. The right treatment starts with the right diagnosis. Your health deserves better than guesswork. 💗 #VaginalHealth #Antibiotics #YeastInfection #womenhealth #NursingStudent
