But when you want to fill your home with beautiful, unique artwork, the cost can add up quickly. Some of my favourite pieces in our home are actually the ones we've painted ourselves or by friends and family. We've also been lucky enough to find some incredible hand-painted artwork second-hand, giving those pieces a new home. A home full of unique art doesn't have to come with a huge price tag. Sometimes the most meaningful pieces are the ones you make, inherit, or stumble across when you least expect it.
