I don't know. This seems like a move AWAY from XRP. After all, OUSD runs on multiple blockchains including Solana and Base, and is not tied to the XRP Ledger in any way. If OUSD infrastructure routes value using its own native rails, it seems to make the XRPL and XRP irrelevant to the transaction. And the burn mechanism is so small it wouldn't move the needle either. The narrative for years has been XRP was the way and it would be the center of a new payment system. This move seems to contradict that narrative altogether.
