I asked my man, my man, my man about this bc we need to get the $9000 wk coin...and, as a woman, I was going to go get that coin myself! He replied with: So here is the thing about trucking, people throw out numbers but never give you a real breakdown of everything. Because I've made $8000 to $11000 gross in a week before several times.... So you have to ask with those numbers, "Is it your own authority, or are you leased on to a company? Is it $9000 gross or net? What does your insurance cost? How much are your breakdown costs?... Plus with heavy haul, how many weeks are you working throughout the year? Because it can be seasonal work. Also, depending on the dimensions of the load, you may have to pay an escort.... which isn't cheap either. They may want $2000 or more depending on the distance traveled. So if the load is over 12 feet wide and 14 feet high, you have to have an escort along with oversized permits for each state your traveling in. So, if I'm traveling from Georgia to Texas, I have to have a permit for those states and each state between. If it's a wide load, you can only travel from sun up to sun down. Heavy haul pays damn good, but you have to give all the details about said load when doing so." **He then told me to go sit down bc "he's got our bills". Exits post.💜💚😂😂
