@eshtonc: Truly a breathtaking experience to witness this 500 year old festival in person! The Haman Nakhwa Nori is held annually and creates a spectacular sea of slow burning sparks resembling falling flower petals over a tranquil pond! It began as a folk ritual lighting slow burning Nakhwa-bong, to ward off evil and bad luck, and pray for health and a bountiful harvest, and is held in spring around Buddha’s Birthday, with a few more dates held through the year! Tickets are required and the location is about a 1.5hr drive from Busan! 📍 Haman Nakhwa Nori Festival, Haman, South Korea #koreanfestival #korea #koreafestival #creatorsearchinsights #asianfestival2026
