@shivali.soni4: Mission of the day: Order breakfast from a local Italian bakery… with my very limited Italian. 🥐🇮🇹😂 As expected, it was less “confident traveler” and more “point at random pastries and hope for the best.” I completely missed the token system until a kind gentleman came to my rescue. Then they started calling the numbers in Italian, and somehow the little bit of French I’d picked up during my travels helped me figure out it was finally my turn. I managed to order something (still not entirely sure what 😅), but everything was so fresh and delicious that I have zero complaints. I’m definitely learning Italian, but until then it’s a mix of new words, hand gestures, and a healthy dose of optimism.
