that's always my argument when they ask. that and when the veteran month people come out of the works. I just tell them I loom forward to what they come up with, then they get all flustered and say the government should do it and pay for it, and with that I always tell them that sounds pretty liberal which gets them to flustered leave 🤣, or I just tell them how much fundraising and organizing goes into these things and that it's not just "the government doing it"
