The problem the materialist left faces is that their particular concerns of Israel/Palestine doesn't impact wider society or the elite as everyday the system dehumanising people and the materialist left don't give an eff. I have a friend who is all in on Israel/Palestine to the extent that she happy for a fascist party to be in power in the UK as in Reform instead of Labour Party even though she is an immigrant to the UK and Reform has promised to rip up equality laws and deport migrants. This materialist left worldview is bringing the far-right to power everwhere only in France are the materialist left activists determined to stop the fascists. In September 2022, a rapper faced a hard stop by unmarked cars, a firearms police car turn up and within less than 60 seconds, the fire arms officer shot dead the unarmed rapper still sitting in his car. There was zero and I mean zero coverage by the materialist left media outlets. The materialist left have a really bad image, which they're happy to cultivate.
