seems like you just need better routines of putting stuff away coming from someone with a clean room, when i get stuff in my room (clothes etc) i will either put it on my desk or put it on my bed, and then add putting it away to my nighttime routine. before my shower i just whizz round my room, get my pajamas ready, hoover and dust every other night, then shower and get to have a clean fresh room every night! i also do a sunday deep clean every single week which helps me keep on top of things

I don’t need to clean my room bc it’s always already clean I just need to hovered the carpet and that’s it my dishes I take to the kitchen right after I’m done get it over and done with and clothes in a washing basket until it’s full and rubbish in a bin until full as well
