protecting the kids privacy is the responsibility of parents. you can ask your internet provider to help you set up a wifi access point for only kid devices that restrict and turns off at certain times so long as you are renting their routers (like a guest network but much more restrictions). this includes blocking external sites and phrases you dont want them looking at

This bill is going to be wildly abused by the tech companies, but will be detrimental to people’s mental health, people who often express themselves and vent online with the safety of anonymity will not longer have that protection.
