@bigwil331: WHEN YOU WAKE UP AND REALIZE! 🐊 💦 Yesterday, friends and family came over for the Fourth of July. Ironically, many of the same people who have told me, “Leave Jack alone,” were the first ones asking, “Can you call Jack out so we can see him?” I smiled because I already knew the answer. Jack wasn’t interested in putting on a show. He stayed where he was comfortable. He didn’t feel the need to prove himself, entertain anyone, or seek their approval. That made me wonder, how many times do we step into places God never called us to, just to make other people happy? We chase acceptance, applause, and validation from people who may not even have our best interests at heart. When you wake up and realize that not everybody deserves your attention, your peace becomes more valuable than their approval. We should live to please God, not people. Scripture: Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10 It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans. Psalm 118:8 Prayer: Father, help me seek Your approval above all else. Give me the wisdom to know when to show up and when to stay where You’ve called me. Let my life honor You, not the opinions of people.
