You remind me so much of my late husband. He was a retired police officer. He was one of the truly good ones. He was over the jail for a few years and he had former prisoners call him, after he retired. They called him “Sarge”. He always worked part time jobs for extra money. We have one son, who is a dentist now. My husband always put my son and myself first. I was very blessed to have almost 46 years with him. Your children and grandchildren will always remember that you made your wife and them, first in your life. Have a blessed Sunday.
