Yeah I tried that and the MD office sent me bill after bill demanding the 20%…while Mcare was processing the claims and had not sent to secondary yet. Threatened to turn me over to collections, post negatively on my credit report etc. I finally pulled out the secondary card…birds chirping quiet. 😁

I took this advice and had an ultrasound scheduled. They immediately told me I had to pay the 20% before hand. I then showed them my part G supplement card and then they proceeded to tell me that I owed $0.00.

Medicare does not crossover (send) to all supplemental plans. Many Medicare recipients never do a COB with Medicare

If they don’t have a supplemental they will owe a coinsurance or deductible. That supplemental will avoid that!
