@var.aunevik: when did our relationship to technology start sounding like a sort of medical condition? We no longer just say “I scroll too much”, but we talk as if we have a condition. Brain rot. Chronically online. Which would also implie that there is a cure. Maybe hidden behind better habits? More self-control? I just find it interesting how we’ve started reaching for illness metaphors when the digital sphere feels almost inevitable if you want to be a "normal" human being in the modern world. So what would the cure even be??
