I am appalled at the amount of comments on here that say mom is being too strict. I had a cut off time for tv growing up. Because my parents knew if I didn’t, I’d stay up all night. And sleep is essential for everyone, especially kids. Mom is just trying to help her kids get some sleep. I’m not sure why that’s an issue.

Ask him if the TV helps him fall asleep. My kid will not go to sleep if the TV is on. However when I was a child if a TV was not on I would not go to sleep. And I didn't stay up late glued to it I went to sleep almost immediately being put to bed.

The amount of people hating is WILD to me just because your parents let you stay up all hours of the night watching tv or whatever doesn’t mean she’s a bad mother for setting rules. It’s not like they don’t watch tv ever just after 9pm when a normal child should be doing to bed at 😂😂
