We're raised to think generosity = good, no questions asked. Give your time, give your energy, give whatever you've got, and don't keep score. Sounds noble. Machiavelli would've called it a mistake. He wrote about this in The Prince — rulers who gave too freely ended up broke, then had to squeeze their people to make up for it, and got resented for the exact thing that was supposed to make them loved. Generosity without limits doesn't stay generosity for long. It turns into a slow leak. Same thing happens to regular people, honestly. You give and give to someone (or something) that never gives anything back, and you call it being a good person. But if you're never asking "what is this actually doing for me or anyone else," you're not being kind. You're just leaking. The move isn't to stop giving. It's to stop giving blindly. Invest in what actually grows. Be generous where it's earned. Be done with what only takes. Because unlimited giving doesn't build gratitude in people — half the time it just teaches them to expect it, and then resent you the second you stop. Protect your energy like it's worth something. Because it is. Seek Light. Think Right. #Stoicism #machiavelli #Discipline #SelfMastery #Wisdom #OneTruthMedia

Who said a baby food maker had to be JUST for babies?! We have loved using the Momcozy automeal baby food maker this summer to make popsicles for our baby and big kids while we try to beat the heat! One of my favorite features is definitely the chopper lid. Plus, I love how I can easily choose the texture of what I’m preparing. It makes the options endless! Link in bio to check out the @Momcozy Official automeal baby food maker + use my code EMCL1FM03 for 10% off! #momcozy #momcozybabyfoodmaker #babyregistry #babyfoodprocessor #babyfoodmaker
