I’m a usps employee and I just don’t understand how people let the job stress them 🤷🏾♀️I understand carriers being stressed about weather conditions but dassit.

My mom quit last year after a heart attack. The post office workers should make more money with them being apart of the federal government.

this is why I quit the post office after being there for 7 years. I was a regular for 2 years. I make more money in the medical field, I'm happier and I start RN school in September.

The 4th of July made 28 years for me (yes I started on 7/4/1998) and all that I can say is we were built different and we understood that a job involved work. I personally was a corrections officer at the time I got hired and three years out of the military so the money is what made me stay. Many of us were able to escape our financial situations and actually gain a financial foot hold but once again that required patience, discipline, and yes a tolerance for BS!!! Like everything else in life it’s a job/paycheck!!!

This job is by far the most mentally draining job I’ve ever had. We’re over worked and underpaid. I’m exhausted!!!!!

I started in sept 2023 and resigned feb 2026. I couldn’t do it anymore. It was tearing my body down. I couldn’t imagine putting my body thru that for 30 more years. People who stay, more power to you. Do what you gotta do.

It's very overwhelming at USPS. You get a pay raise and they find a way to take it back and then some. You're constantly busting your ars and for what?

I’ve been with USPS for 10 years now. I used to love the job, but it is not the same it was back then. There’s no perks or benefits anymore. You just get treated like shit, and if you try and actually try to do your job and care about customer service you get in trouble.

Usps don’t care about family being sick or your mental health I’ve been with the post office for 18 years I wish we had Amazon perks so we don’t have to deal with management
