@lawrettaegba: I’m not sure who first said this, but a version was hanging somewhere in my notes app. Art does not begin in abstraction but in living. It is born from love and grief, from the moments that alter us and refuse to let us remain the same. Rooted in life, art becomes a way of paying attention. Perhaps it is also why I love data visualisations. How they gather what is scattered and reveal patterns hidden inside the noise.
