Minimum wage was started for the purpose of making sure one person could work a full time job and raise a FAMILY. Now it's not enough to take care of ONE person.

Working full time at minimum wage should allow you to pay rent for an apartment, purchase groceries for the week, pay for bills and add a small protein to savings at the MINIMUM

I make 21 an hr and im glad i do but if I had the hrs id be making that much but hrs are not guaranteed even just 4hrs is ok to not loose job

The federal minimum wage was set as the minimum for a family of four to survive when it was introduced. Through the years it wasn’t kept up. It was the original idea of the federal minimum wage
