I’m a STL single mom raising two boys alone. My 8 year old plays hockey, is a goalie, and a diehard Blues fan. I will be spending this off season teaching a very grown up lesson that is important, but he shouldn’t have to learn at 8. I am raising my boys to respect women, that “no” is a full sentence, and that it’s okay to walk away from a situation; even if you think you’ll be made fun of for it. Then we will be choosing our diehard team for next season.
