Yes!!!! I cleaned 6 of them (3 in a row) painted them bright green wrap in similar cording drilled two holes and put wire thru to make a handle for a silverware caddy for camping years ago we still use it it’s pretty easy to clean and has held up

I like using a nail, tapping holes all the way around in a design (just to make it pretty), and putting a candle down in there...upcycling cans is the best fun 💛
