@facethenation: Former CDC Chief Medical Officer Dr. Deb Houry said that before resigning, she intentionally documented internal decision-making beginning when agency websites were taken down in response to President Trump's executive order, which led to the removal of webpages containing terms such as “gender.” “I thought, this is highly unusual. Science doesn't change based on who is in office, and so, when these things were happening, I knew this was different than before,” Houry told @margaret_brennan. “Gender was in many of our data sets. Gender of animals. We had transgender guidance around M-pox. All of that, we were told to take down.”
