hot take: I LOVEEEEEE g3 dolls. as someone who was born in 2004 and was a huge g1 person (still am!) I love the inclusive types. from cultures to body types. its amazing. I will start collecting the dolls once I get more money/outta college. g2 however, sucks.

G1 is also more “high fashion.” They FEEL like collectibles. G3 feels kind of bland due to the drop in high fashion concepts. They focus more on streetwear and clunky outfits. They just don’t look like the dolls you really want to put on a shelf. They don’t feel rare. They don’t look interesting.

I'm in the minority in thinking that the G3 dolls are super cute. I wouldn't buy any because I'm out of the age demographic and have no connection to them anymore, but if kids now like it, I love it
